Joan Needham

A brief biography:
Joan Needham received a NJ State Council on the Arts fellowship in Sculpture and is part of the New Jersey Public Arts program with a lobby installation at the Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex in Trenton, N.J.
Ms. Needham has exhibited her work widely in the United States and in other countries, both in private galleries and in public exhibition spaces.
Her work currently resides in private and corporate collections such as The Albright Knox Art Museum, Buffalo, N.Y., New Jersey State Museum, Trenton, N.J., Rockefeller University, New York, and the Firestone Library, Princeton, N.J.
A Collage Manual, Thames and Hudson, Ltd. includes Joan's handmadepaper structures.
She received a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design and is an Associate Professor at Mercer County Community College, Trenton, N.J.
